Jeffrey Brich

Jeffrey Brich is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Voice at the University of Northern Iowa School of Music. He holds a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) from the University of Iowa and a Master of Music (M.M.) from the University of Northern Iowa. His professional engagements include performances with the UNI Lyric Theater, Faculty Chamber Music Series, Iowa Composer’s Forum, and Cedar Valley Chamber Music Festival. He specializes in a wide range of vocal literature, including Handel’s Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mozart’s Requiem, and roles in opera and oratorio.

His research and creative activities focus on vocal performance, with notable performances in works such as Beethoven’s 9th Symphony (Mendocino Music Festival), Strauss’ Salome (Cedar Rapids Opera), and Wagner’s Die Walküre. He maintains a thriving private voice studio in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and has received several competitive honors throughout his career.

Jeffrey actively collaborates with ensembles such as the Peoria Bach Festival and the Indianapolis Opera Touring Ensemble. His work emphasizes versatility across classical, operatic, and choral repertoire, reflecting his dedication to both performance and pedagogy.
