Jon Bøe Valgermo

Jon Bøe Valgermo is a Research Fellow at the Department of Political Science, University of Oslo. His academic journey includes a BA (2017-2020) and MA (2021-2023) in Political Science from the same institution. He has held roles as a Research Assistant (2021-2023) and Researcher (2023) before his current position since 2024. His research focuses on the policymaking process, agenda-setting, organization theory, and comparative public policy, employing quantitative methods.

His work examines how political agendas are formed, particularly in Norwegian executive speeches over seven decades, and explores coalition dynamics in Israel and Norway. He contributes to the Policy, Bureaucracy, and Organization (PBO) research group. Teaching includes courses on political analysis, public policy theories, and research methods.
