Johnny Power

Johnny Power serves as an Instructor of Film and Art within the School of Art & Creative Media at Millikin University, teaching photography, cinema and film, stop motion animation, and 2D design. He concurrently directs 1901 Productions (Millikin's film production company), assists as Director of the Perkinson Arts Gallery, and coordinates the Annual A.C.E High School Art Show and Workshops.

Power's creative practice centers on constructed narratives and portraiture, blending traditional photography with experimental techniques like alternative processes and printmaking. Through 1901 Productions and the A.C.E High School Art Show, Power mentors emerging artists while maintaining professional practice via Power Photography Inc. His prior ownership of Ten 5 Art Gallery demonstrates sustained industry engagement, creating design work for musical acts, galleries, and commercial venues.
