John Torres

CPT John Torres is an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Texas Christian University (TCU), affiliated with the Army ROTC program under the AddRan College of Liberal Arts. He holds a B.S. in Health and Human Performance from the University of Texas at Brownsville (2012) and an MBA from Webster University (2020).

• Military Career Highlights:
• Commissioned as a Military Police Officer in 2012 (MP Basic Officer Leadership Course graduate).
• Served as Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the 236th MP CO (ARNG), deployed to Kuwait (2016) as Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism Officer.
• Brigade Adjutant and Operations Officer for the 7th Transportation BDE (2017), later commanded the Fort Worth Recruiting Company (2020).
• Completed Military Police Captain’s Career Course and certifications in Airborne, Special Reaction Team Training, and Air Assault.

Current roles include advising MSIII cadets and serving as Operations Officer for TCU Army ROTC. Married with two sons.
