John Paul Shen is a Distinguished Service Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), based at the Silicon Valley campus. With over three decades of experience in academia and industry, he has held prominent roles including founding director of Nokia Research Center-North America Lab (2007–2012) and director of Intel’s Microarchitecture Research Lab (2000–2006).
