John Jansta

Lieutenant Colonel John Jansta serves as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Director of Staff at AFROTC Detachment 765, The Citadel. He oversees a professional staff and administers training programs including classroom instruction, leadership labs, and officer candidate mentorship.

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Purdue University (2007)
• Master of Industrial Engineering, North Carolina State University (2017)
• Squadron Officer School, Maxwell AFB (2014)

Research & Expertise: Focuses on operational leadership, fighter aviation, and military personnel systems. Developed the Air Force's Talent Marketplace assignment system during his tenure at the Air Force Personnel Center.

• Two tours as F-15E Instructor Weapon Systems Officer
