John Hildreth

John Hildreth is the Kimmel Distinguished Professor of Construction Management at Western Carolina University. He holds academic affiliations with the College of Engineering and Technology and the Department of Construction Management. His expertise spans construction equipment, asset management, and transportation systems.

• BS in Civil Engineering, West Virginia University

Research & Professional Activities: Focuses on equipment fleet management, capital-intensive asset optimization, and production planning strategies. Provides consulting services for equipment management and chairs the Maintenance Fleet and Equipment committee at the Transportation Research Board (TRB). Serves as educational advisor to the Association of Construction Equipment Managers and instructs the Construction Equipment Management Program (CEMP).
