Dr. Bruce Gehrig is the Joe W. Kimmel Distinguished Professor of Construction Management and Director of the Kimmel School of Construction Management and Engineering Technology at Western Carolina University (WCU). He previously served as a 2017 Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the Namibia University of Science and Technology and spent 16 years on faculty at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before academia, he worked for 15 years as a civil engineer and construction manager in public, private, and international sectors.
