John Gallagher is a Lecturer in the School of English at the University of St Andrews and Assistant Editor of Fontes Anglo-Saxonici, the comprehensive database of sources for Old English and Anglo-Latin literature. His research focuses on biblical exegesis, textual criticism, and religious literature in Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. He is co-organizer of the international conference 'Entangled Christianities: 100–1500 CE'.
