John G Reeks

Dr John G Reeks is a Senior Lecturer in Early Modern History at the Department of History (Historical Studies), University of Bristol, where he teaches undergraduate units on early modern England and Europe. He serves as Admissions Officer and Deputy Director of Teaching, and has held external examiner roles at Strode College (2016–2020). His research centers on early modern political and religious history, particularly the English parish church and Bristol's role during the Civil War.
