About
John Collomosse is a Professor of Computer Vision and AI at the University of Surrey, leading DECaDE (UKRI/EPSRC Centre for the Decentralised Digital Economy) and the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP). He also serves as a Principal Scientist at Adobe Research, managing the Cross-Modal Representation Learning (XRL) group. His research focuses on AI, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), media provenance, and blockchain applications to combat misinformation and enhance data integrity.
Collaborations include the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) and the ARCHANGEL project, which pioneered AI and blockchain for tamper-proof archives.
