John Coggiola serves as Associate Professor of Music Education with dual appointments in Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts and School of Education, concurrently directing Jazz Studies within the Setnor School of Music. Previously chairing the Music Education Department from 1999 to 2013, he maintains active conducting roles with the Syracuse University Morton Schiff Jazz Ensemble and regional youth wind ensembles.
