Jerry Alexander Bracey

Jerry Alexander Bracey serves as Assistant Professor of Music, Director of the Jazz Ensemble, and Conductor of the University Orchestra at Hampton University. He founded the Hampton University Chamber Orchestra and holds key administrative roles including Coordinator of the Hampton University Music Enrichment Program for Youth (HUM), Instrumental Area Coordinator, and Coordinator for the Annual Week of Jazz.

His educational background includes:

• Advanced conducting studies with Pierre Dervaux and Ferdinand Quaptocchi at Nice Academic Internationale D'ete, France
