John Bleuel

John Bleuel is an Applied Lecturer in saxophone and saxophone chamber music at Clemson University's Department of Performing Arts, within the College of Arts and Humanities. He also holds the title of Professor Emeritus of Music at the University of West Georgia. His professional engagements include performances at Lincoln Center’s Bridge New Music Series, World Saxophone Congresses, and national meetings of the North American Saxophone Alliance. Bleuel is recognized for his transcriptions and arrangements for saxophone quartet and ensemble, published by Dorn, Saxtet, Jeanne, and Tierolff. He is affiliated with Yamaha as a Performing Artist and Eugene Rousseau as a Mouthpiece Artist.

His expertise spans teaching, performance, and composition, with a focus on saxophone techniques and ensemble dynamics. Bleuel’s work emphasizes bridging classical and contemporary music through his performances and pedagogical contributions.
