Johanna Malt is Professor of French Literature and Visual Culture at King's College London, where she directs the London Arts and Humanities Partnership. Her research explores 20th-century literature, visual arts, critical theory, and avant-garde movements with a focus on surrealism.
Research Focus: Intersections of literature and visual art, surrealist aesthetics, modern sculpture theory, and critical approaches to representation. Her forthcoming book examines casts and imprints in contemporary art.
Leadership: Editor of Paragraph: A Journal of Modern Critical Theory and former Head of French at King's College.
