Joel Sievert is an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Political Science at Texas Tech University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia (2015) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University.
- Research Focus: American political institutions, congressional politics, presidency, historical political economy, electoral politics, and separation of powers.
