Joel Rasmussen is a Professor of Historical and Philosophical Theology at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Mansfield College. His academic career began with a Ph.D. from Harvard University, and he has been teaching at Oxford since 2007. He holds a dual role as an Associate Faculty Member alongside his professorship. Rasmussen’s work bridges theology, philosophy, and intellectual history, focusing on the intersections between Christianity, modern European/American thought, and literature.
Education: Ph.D. in Theology/Religious Studies from Harvard University.
