Joe Johnson is a Professor in the Art Media Photography department at the University of Missouri. He holds a BFA and MFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute (2001) and Massachusetts College of Art (2004), respectively. His work has gained international recognition through publications in Art in America, The New York Times, and YVI Magazine, alongside exhibitions at institutions like the Cleveland Art Museum and MassMoCA.
