Prof. Dr. Jochen Hoffmann is a Professor of Private Commercial Law at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, with a research focus on civil law, consumer protection law, commercial and corporate law, banking and insurance law, antitrust law, and European/international commercial law. He has held academic positions at the University of Leipzig and the University of Hamburg before joining FAU in 2009.
