Joanne Lewis is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She holds a PhD from UTS (2011–2013) and has over 30 years of nursing experience, specializing in palliative care for socioeconomically disadvantaged groups. As Director of Health Programs at UTS, she coordinates courses in aged care, palliative care, and Indigenous health. Her research focuses on social determinants of health, equity in healthcare access, and vulnerable populations.
