Professor Deborah Parker is a leading academic in aged care nursing and dementia research at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where she holds the position of Professor of Nursing Aged Care (Dementia). She is the Co-Director of the UTS Ageing Research Collaborative (UARC) and leads End of Life Directions in Aged Care (ELDAC), a national palliative care program. With over $78 million in research funding across three primary areas—palliative care for older people, dementia care, and service evaluation—her work spans clinical practice, policy development, and international collaboration.
