Dr. JoAndrea Costner serves as Chair of the BSN Programs and Assistant Professor at the Presbyterian School of Nursing, Queens University of Charlotte, where she also holds the role of Clinical Education Coordinator. She began her nursing career in 1995 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC-Charlotte. During her clinical practice at Mercy Hospital, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a Community Health focus (1999). Her academic career includes 14 years teaching Fundamentals of Nursing at Mercy School of Nursing (2000-2014) before joining Queens in 2015.
