Dr. Jo Rose is a Senior Lecturer in Humanitarian Response at the University of York. As Programme Leader for the MSc in International Humanitarian Affairs, she bridges academic theory with real-world crisis response across conflict zones and disaster areas including Afghanistan, Somalia, and Nepal.
- Research Focus: Community engagement, disaster risk reduction, WASH in emergencies, indigenous research methods
- Field Experience: Liberia, Kenya, South Sudan, Bangladesh, Uganda
