Roisin Read is a Lecturer in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Humanitarian Conflict Response Institute (HCRI), University of Manchester. She joined HCRI in 2014 after completing her ESRC-funded PhD in Global Development Institute, focusing on peacekeeping data ethics in Sudan. Since 2017, her research explores international intervention politics, knowledge production dynamics, and humanitarian system reform. Geographically, her work centers on Sudan/South Sudan, with additional studies in Nepal and Colombia.
