Jo Anne Balanay is a Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health at East Carolina University's College of Health and Human Performance. A Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) since 2008, she holds MS and PhD degrees in Environmental Health-Industrial Hygiene from the University of Minnesota and University of Alabama at Birmingham respectively.
