Professor Jingyan Dong is a faculty member in the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University. His research focuses on micro/nano manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and biomedical applications. He holds a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2006) and joined NC State in 2008 after postdoctoral work at Nano-CEMMS and UIUC's Industrial and Systems Engineering Department.
Research interests include electrohydrodynamic printing, high-resolution 3D printing, printed electronics, and data analysis for manufacturing. His work has led to innovations in flexible/stretchable electronics and nanoscale fabrication. Over 80 peer-reviewed publications and multiple patents highlight his contributions.
