Jing Ma is an Associate Professor in Biostatistics at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. She develops statistical methods for high-dimensional data in genomics, metabolomics, and metagenomics. Her lab focuses on network-based analyses to study microbiome interactions and aging biomarkers, supported by NIH grants including an R01 for microbiome data integration.
She leads the Dog Aging Project's multi-omics initiatives, identifying protein catabolites as biomarkers of canine aging. Dr. Ma teaches statistical genomics and mentors PhD students in computational biology.
