Jimmy Robert

Jimmy Robert is a Professor at Berlin University of the Arts, affiliated with the Institute of Art. He maintains an active international exhibition profile with recent presentations at Tate Britain, WIELS Brussels, MoMA New York, and multiple Berlin Biennales.

His research centers on Contemporary Art through Performance Art and Sculpture, critically engaging with historical narratives and the Fluxus Legacy. Robert's practice explores bodily presence in institutional spaces, as demonstrated in his 2014 MoMA performance and solo exhibitions at Paris' Jeu de Paume (2012) and Toronto's Power Plant (2013).
