Jim Vesterman

Jim Vesterman is a Lecturer at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He combines his academic role with significant leadership experience in private equity and technology, including serving as CEO of Raptor Technologies (2012-2020) and founding Liberty Place Capital. His teaching focuses on entrepreneurship through the acquisition of existing businesses using the Search Fund model.

Jim's expertise spans entrepreneurship, private equity, and K-12 safety software development. He has been involved in expanding financial literacy education initiatives, reflecting his interest in practical business applications and public policy impact.

Military Service: United States Marine Corps, Special Operations forces (2004), with awards including the Combat Action Ribbon and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
