Jim Strang is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at London Business School, where he has been teaching Private Equity and Venture Capital electives in the MBA and MFin programs since 2019. His professional career spans over 25 years in the Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) industries, holding senior roles such as Chairman EMEA at Hamilton Lane Inc., Chairman of Hg Capital Trust plc, and Director at multiple PE firms including Business Growth Fund plc and Pictet Alternative Advisers. He also serves as a Senior Adviser to CVC Capital Partners and Bain & Company, and sits on advisory boards for Verdane, Stanley Capital Partners, and Campbell Lutyens.
