Jill Jumper is the Dean of the College of Health Professions and Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at Hardin-Simmons University (HSU). She serves as Program Director of the HSU Department of Physical Therapy and teaches courses including Introduction to Clinical Diagnosis, Professional Seminars, and Cardiopulmonary/Anatomy labs.
- Education: BS in Elementary Education (1995, Abilene Christian University); MPT (2002, HSU); DPT (2008, HSU); PhD in Physical Therapy (2022, Texas Woman’s University).
Her research focuses on physical therapy education and geriatric treatment approaches for Parkinson’s Disease. A Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy (2017), she has 20 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, acute care, and home health settings. She contributes to institutional governance as an active member of HSU’s Internal Review Board and advocates for physical therapy policy as TPTA Midwest District governmental liaison.
