Jiayan Sun serves as Assistant Professor of Music and Associate Chair for Performance Activities at Smith College. A highly acclaimed pianist, he has performed with prestigious orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, the Hallé Orchestra, and the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra.
His research interests focus on classical music performance, particularly piano repertoire from the Classical and Romantic periods.
