Jessie Shepherd

Jessie Shepherd is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Lecturer in the Department of Education at the University of York. Her teaching and research focus on social and emotional learning (SEL) for refugee and migrant populations, equity in education, and mental health. She joined the department in 2023 after prior teaching roles at Leeds Beckett University and institutions in California.
