Jessica Torres

Jessica Torres is a Lecturer in Dance at Chapman University's College of Performing Arts, with additional teaching roles at Long Beach City College and as Senior Lecturer at Loyola Marymount University. She is also the Ballet co-director at the School of Dance and Music and directs her contemporary dance company, JESS HARPER & DANCERS.

Torres specializes in broad and specific areas of dance, choreography, performing arts, and film. She has taught and choreographed at Chapman, CSULA, UCI, AMDA, LMU, LBCC, and ACDA, with performances across Southern California, Arizona, and Utah.

Scientific Awards:

• Lester Horton Award for Outstanding Performance in a Company (METHOD & TONGUE)

Torres has collaborated professionally with KAIROS, METHOD, TONGUE, MULTIPLEX, and EARTH WIND & FIRE. She teaches jazz, modern, ballet, yoga, hip hop, choreography, musical theatre, and tap.
