Shadoe Brandt is an Associate Professor of Dance at Oklahoma City University, where he teaches all levels of Tap, Choreography Production, and Choreography Performance. He co-directs the Student Choreography Show and serves as Basic and Beyond Basic Tap Style Coordinator.

Professor Brandt specializes in Tap Dance, Jazz, Ballet, and Musical Theater performance and choreography. He actively develops expertise through participation in major tap festivals including CHRP’s Rhythm World, Motor City Tap Fest, St. Louis Tap Fest, Steel City Tapfest, and RIFF. His performance career includes principal roles in Equity National Tours of "Annie Get Your Gun", "Seussical", "The King and I", "Dr. Dolittle", and "On Golden Pond", plus Madison Square Garden performances in "A Christmas Carol".
He has performed under renowned tap masters Bril Barret, Avi Miller & Ofer Ben, Cathie Nicholas, and the late Professor Robert L. Reed. His choreographic work spans the American Spirit Dance Company, competitive studios, Butler MTG, OKC Tapfest, Red Dirt Tap Festival, Seton Hill University, and the Star Dance Company where he currently creates work.
