Jessica Reeher

Jessica Reeher is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication Studies at SUNY Oswego. She serves as the COM 210 Coordinator and Communication Unit Coordinator. Her research focuses on rhetoric in popular culture, feminist perspectives in communication, and political discourse. She actively presents at academic conferences, including the Eastern Communication Association, where her work has explored topics such as violence in media narratives, teaching strategies using popular culture, and gender representation in media.

Her academic contributions include analyses of rhetorical strategies in films, political movements like Cindy Sheehan’s “Bring Them Home Now” tour, and media framing post-9/11.
