Jessica Mars

Jessica Mars is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Lecturer in the Department of Social Work at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), College of Public Service. She holds an MSW from Newman University (2013) and a Bachelor’s degree from CSU-Pueblo.

Current roles include working in UCHealth Memorial Hospital’s Behavioral Health Department, overseeing internships, and serving on the Hospital Ethics team. She specializes in substance abuse disorder treatment, acute crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. Additional responsibilities include training on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and advancing clinical ethics.

Professional affiliations include Board membership at Ascending to Health Medical Respite and active involvement with the Pikes Peak Center on Ageing Community Senior Ethics group.
