Jessica Marglin holds the Ruth Ziegler Chair in Jewish Studies and is a Professor of Religion, Law, and History at the University of Southern California's Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on Jewish-Muslim relations in modern North Africa and the Mediterranean, legal history, and non-Muslim communities in the Islamic world.
