Dr. Jessica M. Harris is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Wellness at SUNY Oswego, serving as Internship Coordinator. She holds an Ed.D. in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College, an M.S. in Health Science from the University of Arkansas, and a B.S. in Community Health Education from the University of Maine at Farmington. Her research focuses on sexual wellness, HIV/AIDS education, and innovative teaching methods like Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL).
Key areas of expertise include sexual health education, worksite wellness program design, and global health competency development. Dr. Harris is a certified health education specialist (CHES®) and College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA) certified.
