Jessica L. Jacob

Jessica L. Jacob is a Lecturer and Theatre Manager/Public Information officer at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa's Department of Theatre and Dance. A UHM MFA graduate (2006), she returned in 2015 after serving as Executive/Artistic Director of Alaska Theatre of Youth and adjunct faculty at University of Alaska Anchorage. She teaches 'Performing Arts Management' (THEA/DNCE 200e/400e) and has directed productions for academic and community theaters.

Her expertise includes stage combat choreography and aerial performance. Jacob held board positions with the Hawaiʻi State Theatre Council (8 years) and Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, supporting Pacific Islands programming. Professional work spans theater, film, and symphony administration.
