Jeremy Hogeveen is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Mexico. His Cognitive Neuroscience Lab investigates decision-making circuits using fMRI and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), with applications to psychiatric and neurological disorders. Dr. Hogeveen employs computational models to understand neural mechanisms and develop neuromodulation therapies.
Research focuses on:
- Neural basis of explore-exploit decision-making
- Motivational neurocircuitry in mental health disorders
- Noninvasive neuromodulation techniques
He currently advises graduate students Ethan Campbell and Teagan Mullins, along with research assistants Caitlin Enders and Cidney Robertson-Benta. Dr. Hogeveen teaches courses in Neuropsychology, Human Learning & Memory, and Data Science in Psychology & Neuroscience.
