Jeramy Donovan

Jeramy Donovan is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Michigan-Flint's College of Arts, Sciences and Education. With over 15 years in the Education Department and 20 years of experience in education, his work focuses on equitable mathematics teaching, inclusive pedagogy, and culturally responsive practices. A Flint native and graduate of Flint Southwestern Academy, he combines theoretical research with practical application for preservice teachers.

Donovan currently collaborates on a $1.69 million grant-funded project studying Additive and Multiplicative Learning Progressions, focusing on teacher practice and student outcomes in early career stages.

He serves on the Board of Directors for the Ennis Center for Children, advocating for vulnerable youth, and previously worked as an elementary teacher in Detroit schools.
