Jenny Clements

Dr. Jenny Clements serves as Senior Lecturer and Course Director for the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing program at Canterbury Christ Church University's School of Nursing, Midwifery, Allied and Public Health, bringing over 25 years of combined clinical and academic experience in nursing education.

Her educational journey includes:

• Registered General Nurse qualification from Guy's Hospital (1995)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDip HE) from Greenwich University (2000)
• MSc in Professional Leadership in Healthcare from King's College London (2004)
• Doctorate in Education (edD) from King's College London (2018)

Her research critically examines how nurses develop clinical expertise through work-based learning environments and make complex decisions in acute care settings, with direct applications for nursing curriculum development and professional practice.

As an educator, she has shaped nursing education across multiple programs including Advanced Clinical Practice MSc, Healthcare Practice BSc/MSc, Neonatal Healthcare Practice PgCert, and the Adult Nursing BSc, while maintaining strong connections to clinical practice through her hospital-based experience.
