Jennifer Updyke

Jennifer Updyke serves as Assistant Professor and Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program at Alfred State College, part of the State University of New York system. Based in the Allied Health Pioneer Landing facility, she leads the DMS program within the Allied Health department, contributing to the college's hands-on professional education mission through industry-aligned curriculum development.

Her expertise centers on Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with research interests spanning medical imaging techniques, ultrasound technology applications, clinical education methodologies, and allied health workforce development. As program director, she focuses on translating theoretical knowledge into practical clinical skills that meet current industry standards and employer expectations in healthcare diagnostics.
