Jennifer Slinkard

Dr. Jennifer Slinkard is a Senior Lecturer and Core Coordinator in the English/Writing Program at Eastern Oregon University. She specializes in teaching gateway seminars, first-year writing, and introductory applied linguistics courses. Her research focuses on transitions to higher education, language identity, language policy, and innovative writing pedagogies. She holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching from the University of Arizona, alongside multiple advanced degrees in English and linguistics.
