Sara Beaudrie

Dr. Sara Beaudrie is a Professor of Spanish Linguistics and Director of the School of International Letters and Cultures at Arizona State University (ASU). She holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (University of Arizona) and an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language. Her research focuses on heritage language pedagogy, bilingualism, and equity-driven program development. She leads ASU’s Spanish for Heritage Learners program and directs the PhD track in Heritage Language Pedagogy and Research. Her work bridges research and practice, emphasizing critical language awareness and inclusive teaching strategies.
