Jennifer Schopp is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, part of its Breast Imaging Division. She previously served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center before joining UT Southwestern in 2016. Her clinical focus includes evaluating breast cancer extent and breast interventions.
Dr. Schopp earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle and a breast imaging fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Her research emphasizes breast MRI, management of high-risk breast lesions, and diagnosing granulomatous mastitis. She has co-authored over a dozen scholarly articles on these topics. Dr. Schopp is also dedicated to medical education, specializing in teaching residents and fellows about managing contrast reactions.
She actively participates in professional organizations such as the Society of Breast Imaging and the Radiological Society of North America.
