Jennifer Packer

Jennifer Packer is Assistant Professor at Cooper Union School of Art. An acclaimed contemporary artist, her work explores themes of identity, intimacy, and social visibility through figurative painting and portraiture.

Major solo exhibitions include 'The Eye Is Not Satisfied With Seeing' at Serpentine Galleries and Whitney Museum, and 'Every Shut Eye Ain’t Sleep' at LA MOCA. Her practice interrogates representational traditions through intimate depictions of communities and spaces.
