Dr. Jennifer Lillard is Associate Professor and Program Director for Corrosion Engineering Technology at University of Akron's College of Engineering. She holds PhD and MS in Materials Science from University of Virginia and BS in Nuclear Engineering.
Her research examines corrosion mechanisms in stainless steels, aluminum alloys, and nuclear materials. She received multiple awards at Los Alamos National Laboratory including three Defense Programs Awards of Excellence.
She teaches Corrosion Engineering Fundamentals, Strategies for Corrosion Prevention, and Manufacturing Processes. Her industry experience includes materials engineering roles at BWXT and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
