Dr. Jennifer I. Koop is a Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, specializing in pediatric neuropsychology. She holds academic appointments in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry, and is Director of the Graduate Practicum in Pediatric Neuropsychology. Her research focuses on neurological, behavioral, and developmental disorders in children, particularly epilepsy and cognitive development in preschoolers.
Education: PhD in Neuropsychology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (2003), postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin (2003–2005), and clinical research training (NIH K30).
Research interests include the effects of early neurological injury on cognitive functions, neuropsychological assessment methodologies, and disparities in access to care.
